1. Independent Contractor Status
By using the GetABrain.ai platform as a Worker, you acknowledge and agree that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, or representative of GetABrain.ai. As an independent contractor:
- You are solely responsible for all applicable taxes, including self-employment taxes, income taxes, and any other obligations arising from your earnings on the platform.
- GetABrain.ai does not withhold taxes from your earnings. Tax reporting (such as 1099 forms in the United States) is handled through Stripe, our payment processing partner.
- You are not entitled to any employee benefits, including but not limited to health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, or workers' compensation.
- You have the freedom to choose when, where, and how much you work on the platform.
2. Quality Requirements
GetABrain.ai uses a rating system to maintain response quality. Requestors may rate your responses on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. Your quality score is calculated based on the cumulative ratings you receive, weighted by recency.
You are expected to:
- Provide thoughtful, accurate, and complete responses to all queries you accept.
- Read and understand the full query before submitting a response.
- Maintain a professional and respectful tone in all responses.
- Submit responses within the allotted time frame for each query.
3. Rate Limiting
The number of queries you can accept per hour is directly tied to your quality score. Higher-quality Workers are rewarded with more opportunities:
- 5-star quality score: Up to 25 queries per hour.
- 4-star quality score: Up to 15 queries per hour.
- 3-star quality score: Up to 5 queries per hour.
- 2-star quality score: Up to 1 query per hour.
- 1-star quality score: Account suspended from accepting new queries.
New Workers without ratings start with a default rate limit. Your rate limit is automatically adjusted as you receive ratings.
4. Suspension & Ban Policy
To protect the quality of the platform, the following enforcement policies apply:
- Suspension: If your quality score falls below 1.5 and you have received 3 or more ratings, your account will be automatically suspended. While suspended, you cannot accept new queries. You may appeal the suspension by contacting support.
- Ban: A ban is a permanent removal from the platform. Bans are issued for serious or repeated violations of this agreement, including but not limited to the use of bots, plagiarism, or creating multiple accounts. Bans cannot be appealed.
5. One Account Policy
Each individual is permitted only one Worker account on the GetABrain.ai platform. Creating or operating multiple accounts is strictly prohibited. Violations of this policy will result in immediate termination of all associated accounts and a permanent ban from the platform. Any pending earnings on terminated accounts may be forfeited.
6. Confidentiality
All query content you receive through the platform is strictly confidential. You agree to the following:
- You must not share, publish, or disclose the content of any query to any third party.
- You must not take screenshots, recordings, or copies of query content.
- You must not discuss specific query content on social media, forums, or any other public or private channels.
- Violations of this confidentiality requirement will result in immediate and permanent ban from the platform, and may subject you to legal action.
7. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the platform:
- No automated tools: You must not use any automated tools, scripts, or software to generate or assist in generating responses.
- No AI assistance: You must not use AI models (including but not limited to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any other AI system) to generate or substantially assist in generating your responses. All responses must be genuinely human-generated.
- No bots: The use of bots to interact with the platform in any way is strictly prohibited.
- No plagiarism: All responses must be your own original work. Copying content from other sources without proper attribution is prohibited.
- No collusion: You must not coordinate with other Workers or third parties to manipulate ratings, game the system, or artificially inflate earnings.
8. Payment Terms
Your earnings on the platform are subject to the following terms:
- You earn the query payment amount minus a 15% platform fee for each response that is accepted and paid for by the Requestor.
- The minimum payout threshold is $10.00. Earnings below this amount will accumulate in your account until the threshold is reached.
- Payouts are processed via Stripe and typically take 7-10 business days to arrive in your bank account after the payout is initiated.
- You are responsible for ensuring your Stripe account and banking information are accurate and up to date.
9. Termination
GetABrain.ai reserves the right to terminate your Worker account at any time for violations of this agreement, our Terms of Service, or any applicable law. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to:
- Violation of any section of this Worker Agreement.
- Consistently low quality scores or response quality.
- Use of automated tools, AI assistance, or bots to generate responses.
- Creating or operating multiple accounts.
- Breach of confidentiality.
- Any other conduct deemed harmful to the platform or its users.
Upon termination, any pending earnings may be paid out or forfeited at the sole discretion of GetABrain.ai, depending on the circumstances of the termination.
